You’ve mentioned plans to use the investment to accelerate R&D and product innovation. Can you provide specific examples of new products or initiatives that pet parents can look forward to in the coming year?

Kunal Gupta: This funding will help us launch vet-formulated supplements, single-serve meal toppers, and a new Cat meal range — all designed to tackle real pet health issues like digestion, anxiety, and dental hygiene. Our focus is on clean, effective, and easy-to-use products that improve everyday pet wellness.

7. Goofy Tails has a strong social mission, such as supporting the vaccination of street dogs in India. How will this new investment help you scale your impact on animal welfare and foster care initiatives?

Kunal Gupta: At Goofy Tails, our mission goes beyond products — we’re deeply committed to improving the lives of all animals, not just pets in homes.

This new investment enables us to scale our social impact in three key ways:

Stray Care & Vaccination: We’ll expand our street dog vaccination and feeding programs across more cities, and grow our stray care farm in Punjab, which serves as a safe haven for injured, abandoned, and recovering animals.

Vet Partnerships & Foster Networks: With new veterinary tie-ups, we’re building a stronger ecosystem for foster care, rehabilitation, and medical support for strays and rescued animals.

Neuter & Adoption Drives: We plan to run more adoption camps and sterilization initiatives, helping control the stray population humanely and connect more animals with loving homes.
